How would a short black dress look with fishnet stockings?

i have this upcoming ball that im looking forard to in june called " phantom of the opera". can anyone tell me if thats a good idea for a ball, the dress code for everyone is black, red, and white! i havent bought the dress or anything as yet because im still wonderin wat to wear and i plan to wear red heels and red accessories as well..thanks for ur help and ooh im bron skin
