I had unprotected sex yesterday, but got my period today?

To people who understand the female reproductive cycle a little better than i do:...I had unprotected sex yesterday which was the day before i was to get my period. Today I got my period as expected BUT is there now a chance that because of last night's "slip" I will find myself pregnant in the weeks to come?
