Any ideas with home made "gothic" clothing?

I cant really go out and buy "gothic" clothes, thats they style i like by my clothes are more "emo" or scene" what can i do to make those clothes more "gothic" like i found out to make fishnet tights into a fishnet under shirt, ik that doesnt really fit what im talking about but im using it as an example on changing clothes but it does look really good with a tripp skirt.
