How to Assign IP Address to Server on local network?

Do you have an internal DNS server set up? If you do, configure this with an entry for your web server and assign it a name. Most people do not run an internal DNS server, so the other option is to edit your HOSTS file and add some entries manually (this will need to be applied for all your PCs to resolve the name to IP address for the web server)
