Did one thief who was crucified with Jesus revile him or both?

The story is given by different sources. St. Matthew was a witness to the death of Jesus because he was one of His 12 Apostles. St. Mark was the disciple of St. Peter the Apostle in which his account was given at witnessing the death of Jesus. Than there is St. Luke who was the disciple of all the Apostles. You have to remember at this time the Apostles were not very popular with some of the members of the Sanhedrin or with the crowd. My guess is that St. Peter was suffering because of denying Jesus three times in public when he was accused of being a disciple of Jesus. He probably did not hear everything that was being said by the other men crucified upon their crosses. St. Matthew may not have been no where near the cross this would seem like they both were mocking Jesus if he was not close enough to hear their conversation, so that leaves only St. Luke who may had testament from one of the other Apostles who had been close to the cross such as possibly the Apostle St. John who was near the cross with Jesus' mother. No one knows of the name of the criminal that mocked Jesus on the cross, but the good thief's name is St. Dismas.
