I want to be a gynecologist. What steps should I take into the right direction?

Ok so I am going to be a sophmore and high school and am interested in the study of the female reproductive system and helping women. I don't however want to be a ob like delivering babies..but just a gyn. I was wondering about the pros ad cons of being a gynecologist? And also the steps I should take! Please help! Thanks!
