Was it right of them to confront my parents about my pro pic on facebook?

I am 15, I went to a Lady Gaga concert recently. I wore short shorts, a bra with sequins on it, and fishnet tights. My friend wrote the lyrics to her song Bad Romance on my stomach, so I had "I'm a free ***** baby" on my stomach. I made it my profile picture. I go to a strict private school on the upper east side, but i didn't list it on facebook as to protect my school. I'm friends with my uncles and aunt on facebook. My mom was confronted by some girls' in my grade's moms tonight at my school about my profile picture, and that it bothers/worries them. Ok, so here. A: how/why would their moms see my profile picture. B: Why do they care?it's not their daughters. I can't STAND it. My school is strict as it is and it's not about to dominate my facebook life. there are TONS of photos of my friends in their bikinis, HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT?! what's your thought about the whole thing. im so upset right now, i am crying. i can't stand the restriction they are trying to put on me.my mom and dad are siding with them too.
