Was Luke one of the 12 disciples?

Luke was not one of the original Apostles called by Jesus. However Luke, Paul and Mark (also called John Mark) were Disciples of Jesus. Before the resurrection Jesus' followers were called Apostles after the resurrection His followers were called disciples and of course now we're called Christians, Followers of Christ Jesus.
